As temperature will start to rise in later few months, our partner in Oceania has begun to ask for product supply. Since last year our partner Mr. Isaac starts to procure electric air conditioner from us and recommend to his clients. We have witnessed various installation case of the product. In our previous cases, we are not surprised to see electric truck cab air conditioner T20B installed for Euro-style truck since limited space between back of driving cab and tractor. As this Volvo FM truck will be used for hauling some liquid or semi-liquid cargo stored storage pot or reservoir but not square cargo container, so sufficient space will be left or back-mounted condenser. Another reason for choosing K20BS2 is tight space on cab roof for the cab type of this FM truck is Globetrotter cab, the space on cab roof is quite is limited for roof-mounted condenser. As Volvo truck has been integrated some cutting edge technology on exterior and interior design on saving-fuel, so our all-electric battery driven truck air conditioner would be definitely ideal company for the customer’s saving fuel scheme. As we know that if truck is full-loaded running on the way, it may cost more fuel than which of usual conditions. But versatile and easy-to-handle I-Shift crawler gears of FM truck would be beneficial for operators especially on heavy loads. With the choice of one or two crawler gear, plus the additional option of extra reverse gears, startability of the vehicle would be dramatically improved, the clutch strain is said to be reduced by up to 75 percent. Obviously this would help the driver to save more fuel on starting from a standstill, especially in hilly terrain or poor road conditions. So when a short nestle or long-time rest is necessary on the way, K20BS2 would help the driver to save on another end when driving. As alternatively choosing power of pure electricity, connection compressor and engine to drive air conditioner has become the past. The whole connection of battery, alternator, and interior electric system of air conditioner would be much easier and time-saving. Moreover, low voltage protection mechanism of K20BS2 enables drivers to be carefree of battery power-off, which may interfere with engine normally switch on.

Comparing with US-style high-rise truck with much spacious sleeper, Volvo FM truck, even plus an exclusive sleeper, the whole cab area would be cooled down faster by K20BS2. The cab area is about 14m³, with K20BS2 and original 70cm wide lower bed, the driver could spend a night comfortably inside the cab. To ensure air conditioner operating normally and as long as needed, specs of original vehicle alternator and battery is the key. 24V, 110AMP alternator and 3 pieces of 950CCA battery is capable of support K20BS2 running.
